Designations / funds
Add a list of funds — Scholarship Fund, Building Fund, Greatest Need — and the form shows a tidy "Designate my gift to" dropdown. Each donation records its designation, and it flows straight through to your reports, admin notifications, receipts, and CSV export, so you always know what each fund raised.
Pair designations with campaigns for two layers of organization: campaigns for time-bound appeals, designations for ongoing funds.
Custom form fields
Every organization needs to ask something specific — "How did you hear about us?", "Employer (for matching gifts)", "Add me to the volunteer list". Donor Merchant lets you add your own fields without touching code:
- Field types: short text, paragraph, dropdown, or checkbox
- Required or optional, your call
- Answers are saved with each donation, shown in the admin and notifications, and included in CSV exports and webhook payloads
